B-COMPLEXB-Complex Infusion Includes: B1 (Thiamine): Thiamine is a water-soluble vitamin that is an essential micronutrient that cannot be made by the body. This vitamin plays a critical role in energy metabolism, immunity, and keeping the nervous system functioning. Thiamine is stored in the body in non-substantial quantities by the liver. Since the body only keeps small reserves and cannot make this vitamin, we must ingest foods containing this vitamin daily. Alcohol inhibits the absorption of Thiamine and can decrease the dietary absorption of it by 50%. The body’s demand for thiamine increases greatly during periods of illness. B2 (Riboflavin): Riboflavin assists many enzymes with various daily functions within the body. It is a key component of coenzymes that are involved with cell growth, energy production, and the breaking down of fats and medications. Riboflavin is used immediately and is not stored by the body. Riboflavin works by reducing stress and inflammation of the nerves and has been found to be helpful in reducing migraines. B3 (Niacinamide): Niacinamide is required to maintain healthy cells. Niacin is converted in niacinamide. This version of B3 does not cause flushing. It helps provide healthy skin, nails, and hair. B5 (Pantothenic Acid): Pantothenic Acid is water-soluble essential nutrient. The body requires this B vitamin in order to synthesize coenzyme A; which is essential for fatty acid metabolism and, in general, is needed for the synthesis and metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. In particular Dexpanthenol (the biologically active version of pantothenic acid) is needed to support a healthy epithelium- which includes your skin, GI tract, and lungs. B6 (Pyridoxine): Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin as well. The body converts pyridoxine to its active form (pyridoxal 5’-phosphate), which is an essential cofactor in the synthesis of amino acids and neurotransmitters. This B vitamin is also required for the proper function of the immune system, the nervous system, and red blood cells.

B12B12 is an important vitamin in metabolism. It's required for DNA synthesis and is needed for the production of red blood cells. B12 is a key player in the function and development of brain and nerve cells. It also helps increase metabolic energy and improve mood regulation.
-
GLUTATHIONEGlutathione is a powerful antioxidant that is often called the 'master antioxidant'. Unfortunately, Glutathione levels decrease significantly as we age. This peptide helps the body combat free radicals that can damage your cells. Glutathione is also helpful in preventing and recovering from viral infections, and helps the liver get rid of many toxins including alcohol.
-
MAGNESIUMMagnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems including: protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, and blood pressure regulation. It plays a critical role in supporting muscle and nerve function and energy production, and can improve sleep, reduce anxiety, and boost your mood.
-
NAD+NAD+ (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme required for generating energy, and is central for metabolism. NAD+ can directly and indirectly influence many key cellular functions, including: metabolic pathways, DNA repair, and immune cell function. NAD+ has been shown to have anti-aging benefits, improve clarity, increase energy and endurance, improve mood, protect against stress and reduce inflammation.

TRI-AMINO BLENDArginine: This amino acid helps the body build protein. Proteins are essential because they are in every cell in your body. Citrulline: This amino acid plays an important role in helping the body rid itself of harmful substances such as ammonia. It also plays a role in vasodilation (relaxes the blood vessels) by boosting nitric oxide production to improve blood flow. Ornithine: This amino acid improves liver function by helping to detoxify the body of harmful substances. It's used by some athletes to increase performance. Ornithine has also been known to help with dry skin, insomnia, and wound healing.

VITAMIN CVitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that's not stored by the body naturally. It plays a role in controlling infections caused by bacteria and viruses, is needed for wound healing, and is known as a powerful antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals. Vitamin C is needed to make collagen (important for connective tissues, such as: bones, cartilage, muscle, and skin) and helps make several hormones and chemical messengers that are used in the brain and nerves. Vitamin C can cause a reduction in blood vessel inflammation and helps strengthen the blood vessel walls. Vitamin C may also increase energy levels.
-
ZINCZinc is needed for the immune system to work properly. It plays a major role in the creation of DNA, growth of cells, wound healing, and the breakdown of carbohydrates. Taking zinc within 24 hours after cold symptoms begin may reduce how long the symptoms last and can potentially make them less severe.
-
LACTATED RINGERS (LR)Lactated Ringers is a crystalloid isotonic solution containing electrolytes. It is similar to the body's blood plasma. It's used for dehydration, blood volume loss, and to replace depleted water and electrolytes.
-
TORADOLToradol is a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) used to reduce pain and fever. When given by IV, it usually is effective within 30-60 minutes. One dose usually lasts about 6 hours.
-
ZOFRANZofran is an anti-nausea medication. It works by blocking the action of serotonin by disrupting the nausea signals between the brain and gut; thereby, prevent nausea and vomiting. When Zofran is given by IV, it usually takes effect by 10 minutes and lasts for about 8 hours.
